The Learning Hub project is designed to provide displaced and vulnerable children across Lebanon a chance to continue their education amid the ongoing crisis. Through the construction of makeshift educational spaces, the initiative aims to offer a safe, hopeful environment that nurtures both learning and emotional well-being. Lightweight, modular structures make the hubs easy to assemble and disassemble, providing flexibility while creating child-friendly spaces that promote personal growth. These hubs go beyond educational purposes, also serving as safe havens where children can momentarily escape the trauma of displacement and receive psychosocial support, aiding in emotional healing.

In partnership with Lebanese Alternative Learning (LAL), the project reimagines traditional learning environments by blending innovative design with modern educational programming. Central to this design is the use of geodesic domes, chosen for their structural integrity, energy efficiency, and versatility. These domes foster a creative and dynamic learning environment, challenging conventional classroom layouts to enhance student collaboration and engagement.

The Learning Hub, through its innovative architecture and programming, serves as a beacon for the future of education. It emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and sustainability, providing a transformative space that empowers displaced and vulnerable children and promotes hope for a brighter future.
